TESTING GUIDE

Left vs right grip strength.

One hand is often stronger. What matters is testing both hands the same way.

Test both hands

Run the same number of attempts for each hand, with the same rest time. The source protocol uses the maximum result, so Grip Benchmark is designed around your best valid reading.

Dominant hand differences are normal

A stronger dominant hand is common, but sport, work and injury history can change the pattern. Avoid reading too much into one isolated test.

Track the same value over time

If your benchmark uses the best reading from either hand, keep using that method. If you want left-right tracking, record both hands separately outside the calculator.
